DBL Électronique (“we”) operates this website to present its products and allow you to place an order, to be collected and paid for in store. This page explains simply which information is used when you browse or order, and why.

What we do not collect

This website asks you for no name, no phone number and no address in order to browse or place an order. Your cart is handled solely within your own browser (it is not sent to our server until you confirm the order).

What we collect, and why

• The contents of your order — when you confirm your cart, whether through “Order on WhatsApp” or “Order by email”, the contents of that cart (products, quantities) together with the optional note you wrote are recorded, so that the shop can prepare your order and let you change it if needed before you come to collect it. A reference number is then assigned to you, so your order can be found easily.
• Your contact details (phone number or email address) are never sent to our website: once the order is recorded, a pre-filled message opens in your own application — WhatsApp or your email client — and you are the one who sends it to the shop. We therefore only receive your contact details if you choose to write to us yourself. That exchange is then handled by WhatsApp (Meta) or by your email provider, under their own privacy policies — not by us.
• The floating WhatsApp button (present on every page) works the same way: the message you write there is not recorded on our website; it only pre-fills your WhatsApp application before you send it.
• Technical logs — like most websites, our server keeps a short-lived technical record of visits (IP address, page viewed) for security and proper operation. These logs are not used for commercial purposes and are not passed on to third parties.

Cookies

We use no advertising or commercial tracking cookies. One technical cookie is used solely to secure the shop staff's connection to the administration area — it does not concern visitors to the public site.

How long this information is kept

Orders are kept as the shop's sales history. An order may be archived and then, at the shop's discretion, downloaded for its own records and deleted from our systems.

Who has access

Only authorised DBL Électronique staff, through password-protected access, can view orders. We neither sell nor share this information with third parties for commercial purposes.

Security

Access to the administration area is protected (passwords are never stored in plain text, login attempts are limited, and safeguards against misuse are in place). No system is 100 % infallible, but we take this responsibility seriously.

Your rights

You may ask us at any time what information linked to one of your orders is kept, or request its deletion — for example if you had left a personal detail in an order's note. Simply contact us with the reference of your order (the number shown after confirmation, also included in the message sent to the shop).
